Why Your Signature Matters
Florida law requires candidates to collect a minimum number of petition signatures from registered voters within their district before they can appear on the ballot. Without enough signatures, Amanda's name won't appear on Election Day — no matter how many people support her.
That's why petition gathering is one of the most critical steps in this entire campaign. Every single signature from a registered District 6 voter moves Amanda one step closer to the ballot — and this race closer to being decided by the community it serves.
What makes a valid petition signature:
You must be a registered voter in Pinellas County School Board District 6
You must sign the form by hand — digital signatures are not accepted
Your name, address, and date of birth must match your voter registration
Only one signature per form — do not sign on behalf of others
Forms must be mailed back — no PO Boxes on your return address
